Before I start ranting, I would just like to say it's almost Christmas, so firstly Merry Christmas to all out there and I hope Santa (HE IS REAL) gives you all the prezzies you deserve. I am sure you all have been good little boys and girls. Secondly, because it is Christmas, I might not be blogging for a while. Not that, that matters because I the moment I am talking to my fucking self here. Come on people, if there is anyone reading this, get in touch for fuck sakes, become a subscriber or some shit like that. Hell, maybe I might get my Christmas wish and someone WILL start chatting to me.
Okay, I was on a webinar last night with a chap called Steve Iser seeing if I could learn anything new that will help me as an Affiliate Marketer. It just so happened I did.
A quick piece of advise. If you want to stay ahead of the game attend as many Webinar's as you can. Mostly big Internet Marketers will use these to flog their new systems, however, you never know what tips they bring to the table. It's these tips that you can really use sometimes. So attend as many as you can and learn as much as you can from them. Just have the willpower not to buy everything they sell. (Unless it's shit hot and gonna make you loads of cash.)
Okay yesterday Steve said something that really made sense. "If you want to stay ahead of the competition, do what the Super Affiliates are doing." These are the chaps that are fucking raking it in. If you shadow them and do what they are doing to rake in the money, then wouldn't it make sense to follow them?
So how do you follow these guys. Well firstly you can check your inbox. If there is more than one affiliate trying to sell the same system, then you know it's a high converter, so try to sell the same product. Then there is Clickbank browse the niche's and see what's selling well, try go for the more unusual niches as well like say self help or modern art. Look at the gravity of the product. If it's high then you know it's converting well.
One sure fire way to check out if a product is doing well is to find an affiliate offer. This can be on any website you choose. News websites and shit like that have them dotted about. Then, check out the affiliate websites data. How much traffic it has, the demographic data, the ad position, the split testing ad copy and the landing page data. You can do this by checking out a few nifty websites and comparing the data.
Here are a list of the websites:
Google Ad Planner, Compete, Quantcast, Alexa , and finally Offervault. The last one has a load of shit to help you out as an affiliate, so if you don't know what the fuck I'm on about, Offervault has a lot of cool features to help you out. Besides if you check out the websites I mentioned, you'll figure out what I'm on about.
One thing though, all the sites have different data, so I suggest you check them all out and make a comparison. With all that data available, you'll be able to see just exactly what is working for people and what isn't, so all you'll have to do is copy their success.
Well that's it for now. Next time I'll chat about off the grid traffic methods and other ways to make cash online, like CPA offers and other shit.
For now, have a Very Merry Christmas.
Warm Wishes
Glen.
