Hey Everyone,
I hope you all are having a festive Christmas Eve wherever you are.
I had a couple of minutes spare so I decided to enter another bit of info into the blog.
I was watching a few Youtube videos on traffic generation. (This is another weapon in your arsenal you can use to get ahead of the game.) Anyway, I was watching this lady called Lisa, who has been doing Internet Marketing since 2002, she has made a fortune online and continues to do so. So when she spoke, I listened.
When I started off, which wasn't so long ago, I was told you needed to create a website to flog your affiliate links on. Then write tons of articles creating backlinks, write on forums (creating more backlinks), link share with other websites and so on, and so on.
The problem with this is, although it does work, it is long winded and you only get a bit of traffic.
Another problem, that Lisa told me and I came to realize was, these are all old school methods that ALL new affiliates use but are way outdated.
Which brings me back to the point I made in the last blog.
If you want to make a lot of money in the affiliate marketing industry, you HAVE TO follow what methods the top dogs are using. The internet is constantly changing, and so is the Internet Marketing industry. You have to adapt with it. What is working now, may not be tomorrow. So follow the super affiliates. Read blogs, watch Youtube videos, attend webinars, do as much as you can to stay ahead of the game.
One more word of advise, if you think this is going to be easy, forget it. This is fucking hard work peeps, you have to sweat your balls off. If you're gonna be too fucking lazy to work at this game, then you are gonna get shit.
Well thats it folks, have a good Christmas.
Warm Wishes
Glen

Day7: Follow the experts.
On Twitter? click the link for Freebies and other cool stuff. FaceBook? Click the more button.
Before I start ranting, I would just like to say it's almost Christmas, so firstly Merry Christmas to all out there and I hope Santa (HE IS REAL) gives you all the prezzies you deserve. I am sure you all have been good little boys and girls. Secondly, because it is Christmas, I might not be blogging for a while. Not that, that matters because I the moment I am talking to my fucking self here. Come on people, if there is anyone reading this, get in touch for fuck sakes, become a subscriber or some shit like that. Hell, maybe I might get my Christmas wish and someone WILL start chatting to me.
Okay, I was on a webinar last night with a chap called Steve Iser seeing if I could learn anything new that will help me as an Affiliate Marketer. It just so happened I did.
A quick piece of advise. If you want to stay ahead of the game attend as many Webinar's as you can. Mostly big Internet Marketers will use these to flog their new systems, however, you never know what tips they bring to the table. It's these tips that you can really use sometimes. So attend as many as you can and learn as much as you can from them. Just have the willpower not to buy everything they sell. (Unless it's shit hot and gonna make you loads of cash.)
Okay yesterday Steve said something that really made sense. "If you want to stay ahead of the competition, do what the Super Affiliates are doing." These are the chaps that are fucking raking it in. If you shadow them and do what they are doing to rake in the money, then wouldn't it make sense to follow them?
So how do you follow these guys. Well firstly you can check your inbox. If there is more than one affiliate trying to sell the same system, then you know it's a high converter, so try to sell the same product. Then there is Clickbank browse the niche's and see what's selling well, try go for the more unusual niches as well like say self help or modern art. Look at the gravity of the product. If it's high then you know it's converting well.
One sure fire way to check out if a product is doing well is to find an affiliate offer. This can be on any website you choose. News websites and shit like that have them dotted about. Then, check out the affiliate websites data. How much traffic it has, the demographic data, the ad position, the split testing ad copy and the landing page data. You can do this by checking out a few nifty websites and comparing the data.
Here are a list of the websites:
Google Ad Planner, Compete, Quantcast, Alexa , and finally Offervault. The last one has a load of shit to help you out as an affiliate, so if you don't know what the fuck I'm on about, Offervault has a lot of cool features to help you out. Besides if you check out the websites I mentioned, you'll figure out what I'm on about.
One thing though, all the sites have different data, so I suggest you check them all out and make a comparison. With all that data available, you'll be able to see just exactly what is working for people and what isn't, so all you'll have to do is copy their success.
Well that's it for now. Next time I'll chat about off the grid traffic methods and other ways to make cash online, like CPA offers and other shit.
For now, have a Very Merry Christmas.
Warm Wishes
Glen.

Day6: What's Internet Marketing?
On Twitter? Click the link for Freebies and more. Facebookers, just click the more button for tons of useful into and free stuff.
Right my little cyber monkeys out there, today I am going to chat about exactly, what I think, all this Internet Marketing shit is about and what you will need if you are going to make a career out of it.
In my humble opinion you need 3 things to make a living online.
1.) A website with your affiliate links on it.
2.) An autoresponder so you can build a list to flog your affiliate products to said list.
3.) TRAFFIC.
Or you can go and buy a kick ass product that will make you money without the need of the shit I mentioned above. However, a word of warning I have brought shit loads of programs that PROMISE you won't need a website, a list, SEO, link building, article writing, keywords, etc, etc on their sales letter. However, once I have started to use it, all of a sudden I DO need a website and hosting and all the shit that goes with it.
TO ALL THE VENDORS OUT THERE- Look I don't mind it if there is a good program that makes me money, but don't talk a load of bullshit on your sales page. If you need a website, don't tell me I don't need one, because that will only piss me off and I'm sure it pisses a load off other people off to.
Another piece of advise out there for budding Internet Marketers, any sales page that says it's easy as 123 IS LYING.
Look I am a lazy fucker, you all know that from my previous blogs, however, I am still looking for that perfect product that will make my life easier and give my FULL automation. VENDORS - get cracking on the technology immediately.
There are a lot of programs out there that have software built in that automate certain processes for you, but don't be disillusioned, you will have to work your ass off in the first instance to get the software up and running for your automation.
Okay so back to the 3 points mentioned above.
One sure fire way to make sales is if you create a "review" website where you review certain products for the consumer and add your affiliate link. People love it when the hard work has been done for them. They like to know how a certain product performs before buying it. So they go to your site, read a review you published and if they like what they read, they click on your affiliate link. A word of warning though, in my personal opinion, it's always wise to do true reviews. If you haven't reviewed a product yourself, check on the net for other reviews and glean info off them and put them in your own words.
You can see a fantastic example of a review site here.
If you don't know how to create a website, the best one I have found is www.webs.com this is by far the best and easiest way to create a website. trust me.
One way to create continuous income online is to build a list. You will hear this saying all over the fucking web "The money is in the list." I have found this to be 100% true peeps. I have just seriously started list building and FINALLY, I have started to make money online. The floodgates have finally fucking opened.
What I recommend is get an account with Aweber okay. These guys are fucking awesome. They have cool training videos and have 100% deliverability. Which means every e-mail you write will be sent to your subscribers. You can create a squeeze page offering a freebie and this will start the process of link building.
Finally, you could have the best website in the world, advertising the best products in the world but you ain't got shit, if you can't drive traffic to it my friends.
There is two systems I am currently trialling, that have started to yield results, they are Zero Down Traffic which teaches you how to drive free traffic to your site or affiliate link. This comes in handy if you don't have a lot of cash to squander and then there is Total Traffic Annihilation, how fucking hardcore does that sound? This uses both paid and free traffic.
Well, that's about it for now, but before I go, I want to give you a free e-book on Getting past the Newbie stage of Internet Marketing. I hope it will help and give you a better understanding of the market.

Day4: Picking the niche.
On Twitter? Click the link. Facebook? Click the more button.
Hey peeps.
Today I'm gonna have a quick chat on picking the niche to suit you and a little more on why I am doing what I'm doing.
As you may well of guessed, the niche I've decided to concentrate on is the "make money" niche. The reason for this is three fold. 1.) It is what I am interested in so it makes it easier for me to promote. 2.) I myself, want to make money from that niche and 3.) I want to help as many people as I can get out the the stinking situation I've found myself in. (hence this blog). I want to create Internet wealth myself but I also want to help people make money online as well.
So how do you pick your niche to promote? Well, I personally think that a person will do better if they seriously want to help other people, I am a strong believer in Karma, many aren't but to be honest I don't give a shit, they will get their comeuppance someday. Anyway, I digress, the point is pick a niche that will help others as well as yourself. Also pick a niche that you are comfortable with. For instance - You are trying to give up smoking. Well then, go for the "quit smoking niche" not only will you be able to test the products you promote out for yourself, you will be able to write a impartial review on it (some free traffic, more on that later) and you will make money from it.
If you are into music then the "learn how to" play the guitar, piano etc, niche will be just down your street.
If you pick a niche you enjoy, it won't seem like a job to you, more like a hobby. How cool will it be to make money from doing what you enjoy. Not only that you will be genuinely helping someone else achieve something too.
To give you an idea on the basics of niche marketing, I have provided a free e-book to my subscribers list.

Day3: Picking the product that meets financial needs.
On Twitter? Click the link for freebies and more. Facebook, just click "more" button.
Before I start I would like to apologise for not blogging on Friday. I work nights from Sun to Thurs, (I have a feeling I will be leaving this shit-tip soon though), so most of the blogs you'll see will be early mornings. I refuse to do any work whatsoever on the weekends. However, last Thurs / Fri I didn't update. To be honest I was tired and too fucking lazy to give a damn. I will try not to let it happen again.
Okay, so there are a lot of programs on the web designed to help you make money online, some are very good, others just plain scams. So how do you check to see which ones are worthwhile and which ones do you kick to the curb?
Unfortunately, for those lazy fuckers out there (me included), you have to do some research. First off, type in make money online into Google. The ones you find on the top mean they have worked fucking hard on S.E.O (Search Engine Optimisation) to get there, so thats a good start. Then, if anything you find that may be decent, go on to scam websites, forums and any other type of review site you can find, and read up on the product. Find out what other people are saying. A word of warning though, some of the so called "Super Affiliates" like to create their own review websites to "big up" their own products. An easy way to spot these guys is EVERY review is a glowing one. Not all products are great, a true review site will have bad ones too.
Another way is to sign up to subscriptions or newsletters, the downside is your mail will get flooded with a whole host of people trying to sell you shit. However, if you see a product being mentioned over and over, it's worth checking it out. (No true Super Affiliate will put his name to a shit product.)
Okay, so how do you pick a product that's right for you?
Well, if you enjoy writing, then perhaps making money from blogging is what you might be interested in.
There has been a lot of people bigging up Blogging to the bank I have personally brought this, but haven't had the chance to properly use it yet, however, a lot of folks out there have tried and made money from it, but don't take my word, get off your arse and try it out for yourself.
What about if you are into Social Networking. If you spend hours on Facebook and Twitter catching up with pals, why not make money out of it hmm?
There are two programs I have brought and in the process of going through and they are Twitter Cash Formula and Hyper Facebook Traffic. Once again, I have purchased both but haven't had time, "too fucking lazy more like it", to fully check them out. I will though and I am sure if I put my mind to it, I will make money from them.
Anyway, whatever you choose, make sure you research it properly, make sure it has at least a 30 day money back guarantee so you can test it out properly and if it doesn't work, you can get your money back. Oh and there is a lot of vendors that will have what I call "follow up" purchases. So say you like the sound of Auto Traffic Monopoly, you buy the initial product for, I think it was $29, you with then have the opportunity to buy ATM Profit bank, then ATM cut and paste, then ATM private coaching, and so on and so on. I personally don't think you need all that bullshit, but if you think it will help you, buy it. Just make sure you get a refund when you see it's not really worth it.
Okay I think that is enough for one day. Speak to you tomorrow.
Cheers
Glen.

Day 2: What to avoid.
On Twitter? Click on link for freebies and more. On Facebook, then just click on see more.
Okay, today I am going to talk about programs I have used that have just turned out to be scams. You will do well to avoid these assholes at all costs.
The first one I want to talk about is a website called My Affiliate Cash System.
(Don't be fooled by his masterfully crafted sales letter, it's all a load of bullshit.)
It's been setup by the geezer called David Michael. Basically he sorts out a review site called Happy Diet News for you based on health products. If you clicked on the link you can see what it is, but for fuck sakes whatever you do, DO NOT put your name for a free trial, I'll tell you why below.
Apparently every time someone asks for a "free trial"of diet pills from your affiliate site, you get commission. Simple right? Wrong.
One of his sales pitches that he hooks you on is he guarantees you get $100 in the first 48 hours. The way he can do this is YOU have to order a free trial of diet pills to make sure the affiliate site works. That is all a big con.
So you order from your affiliate site and hey presto you get your $100 - wait - no you don't. You have to make a further $500 in affiliate sales before you get paid.
Here's the fucking kicker though - IT'S NOT FREE. Firstly, they charge you postage and packaging.
A Quick side note. Always, always, ALWAYS - I can't stress this enough - read the small print. It will save you the hassle I had to put up for almost four months. Basically, what I failed to read is: you can try it for 14 days, then if you don't like the product, you need to send it back. I didn't so I was charged £67.50 for the bottle and, not only that, I unwittingly entered into a contract with the company that provides this product. So the next month I was billed for a product - I DIDN'T EVEN RECEIVE. It has just managed to get my money back from the three months they charged, but I had to pay the 1st month.
Listen people this was not worth the hassle. I urge you to avoid this lying, manipulating site at all costs. So if you see an ad in you inbox about My Affiliate Site - DELETE IT IMMEDIATELY.
Another site is called Net Penny Stocks, this site is where you "auto invest" your hard earned cash in Forex, mutual funds and other shit. On the landing page it says you can get virtual stocks or free credits to invest. Another load of bullshit pushed in your face I'm afraid. I have invested $200 with Net Penny Stocks and haven't received a fucking dime back. What a waste of money. That put me off investing, however, if you want to invest your money, a mate of mine has done pretty well on a system called Forex MegaDroid. I really don't know much about it, but neither does he, apparently this system does it all for you. Anyway I digress. Keep clear of net penny stocks.
One Affiliate Marketer you have to avoid at all costs is a chap names Randy Jett. He is the owner of over 133 domains I know of a few supervip.com / cash4deposit.com / 7daycashdollartrail.com to name a few. The one I got scammed with was Big Checks Monthly. Basically his sales page says you can make money off of Google and Clickbank through Big Checks Monthly. Basically you purchase a package off of him, from 3 to 8 domain package. He will then instruct you to get a Clickbank and Google Adsense account and forward him your username and publisher account respectively. Then you buy domains from someone like Godaddy (side line - if you want to buy domains, this is the best site to do so.) Then you use his site as a host and he will set up the pages for you and direct traffic to your websites. The appeal is you don't have to do fuck all but get paid loads for it.
So I brought the 8 domain package for $267. I was given the usual 60 days to cancel, after 55 days I saw nothing, not a red cent, so I asked for a refund. He replied saying you need to give it 16 weeks. I replied by saying after the 16 weeks, if I haven't make anything, can I still get a refund. If not, I want one now. He said sure. 16 weeks passed and still nothing in my Click bank or Google accounts.
I asked for the refund on several occasions and I haven't heard a peep.
This chap is a scam artist and you need to steer clear, he will happily take your money but won't deliver what's promised.
Well that's all for now. I will update you with more when I come across them. Tomorrow I will chat about picking the right product for you and how to spot the scammers out there.

Cheers
Glen.

Day 1: Having The Right Mindset.
If you are reading this on Twitter or Facebook then I urge you to click the link below.
If you are newbie or a old hand at Internet Marketing then this blog is a must read.
Okay welcome to the first day of my new blog.
Quick forewarning, this blog has colorful language, so if you are offended, navigate away now. However, if you want to learn more on how to succeed in Affiliate Marketing and sidestep the problems I had, keep reading.

I know you are all chomping at the bit to read what I have to say (maybe not). Perhaps you are reading this in anticipation of the freebies or you really want to learn from my experiences avoid my pitfalls. In the end, I don't give a fuck why you are here, I just hope I can help.
One of my problems when I first decided that I wanted to make money online, was I am so fucking gullible, I would buy everything out there to make a quick buck, oh - and I was, no, AM the laziest bone-idle shit you would ever meet. So when I saw some of the sales letters that read: Make $5123 in three clicks, I brought it, only to find it was all a load of bullshit. Don't believe that you can make money within an hour or with a few clicks, it's all bullshit. Anyway, more of that in a later blog.
The main point I'm trying to make is that it is hard work, you have to spend a lot of time hunched over the computer getting the programs up and running. So if you are lazy like me, this is what will happen. You will get all excited, buy the product and then think: "I'll start tomorrow." Tomorrow comes and you find out this amazing program isn't just pressing a few buttons to generate vasts amounts of cash. You have to set up blogs, or social accounts or whatever shit they tell you to do, and after a few hours you give up and go to the next program. Sure you will have 60 days to test the product and get a refund. (Clickbank products at least). However, for every product you buy, you have to pay tax. You DON'T get that back.
Basically what I am trying to say is this: Get yourself in the right mindset so that you persevere with whatever you buy. If at the end of 60 days you haven't made a cent, but followed the program to the T, then by all means ask for a refund and try the next big thing. Rome wasn't built in a day people, and your Internet Business is just the same.
Don't be Procrastinations Bitch. I have for far too long now, but I'm kicking that fucker in the nuts.
So, how you you get in the right mindset, I hear you ask?
Everyone is different, but if you want my two cents, here it is:
1.) You have to be a dreamer. If you can't picture yourself in a massive mansion, driving that fast car and living the dream, then, I'm sorry my friend, you're fucked. Without a dream to work toward, then why work at all. All you are doing is working to survive. Fuck that shit. I want the life of Riley and I'm not going to stop dreaming.
2.) Write down on a piece of paper all the things you want in life. Then, ticking them off as you achieve them, this will give you more impetus to succeed.
3.) Back to point 1. Write a list of things you need to do to achieve your dreams and put a plan into action.

4.) Set goals and a timeline you want to achieve them.
5.) Finally set up a daily planner of what you are going to do to achieve them goals and stick to it rigidly.
I know it's a ball-ache because most of us are lazy and master procrastinators. We are scared of hard work and love to put off things for tomorrow but tomorrow never comes. Welcome to my new blog on the Ugly Truth About Internet Marketing
If you are reading this on Twitter or Facebook then I urge you to click the link below.
If you are newbie or a old hand at Internet Marketing then this blog is a must read.
Let me first begin by telling you exactly why I have decided to write this blog and what, I hope, you will benefit from it.
Well, I have been trying to break into Internet Marketing for over six months now and let me tell you, I haven't made one fucking penny from this.
(A quick side line: if you don't like my colorful language and descriptive techniques, don't complain, just navigate away - simple :-) )
I have tried nearly every stinking system there is out there, let me tell you people, it's hard. Listen, I'm not saying it can't be done, it can. I just haven't been lucky yet.
Like everything in life, there are sharks and scammers surfing the net, trying to sell crap that doesn't work. Unfortunately I'm such a gullible fucker, that I buy and try everything.
So that leads me to the why. I am going to tell all you out there EXACTLY what I have done, what systems I have tried, which are okay and which are just a plain scam that you need to avoid at all costs.
I am going to bare all, I will leave no stone unturned. I am going to tell you what I have learned from all the shit I have purchased over the past few months and I will probably - no most definitely, be giving away a load of free e-books that have sort of helped me.
Not only that, I am going to tell you what I think you need psychologically, in order to succeed in this cut-throat business. I am going to put my two years of Psychology to good use.
I know it's really hard to make money out there, and I hope that with this blog, I will learn more and hopefully I can help someone else out there.
Well, I think that is a pretty fucking cool opening to my new blog. If, over the next few blogs you get to like what you read, then please become a subscriber.
Thats all for now, take care and I hope you all make tons of cash online.
Cheers
Glen.
